Sweetness Bakery was originally founded by Steve Deighton and his family after realising there was a growing need for a bakery that was peanut and tree nut free, especially for his son who they discovered is highly allergic.
As of January 1st 2014, Steve has passed the torch onto Ancaster bakery manager Melissa Barry, and her business partner Daniel Deline.
Melissa has extensive training in Baking and Pastry Arts, which include a 2 year apprenticeship at the Niagara Culinary Institute, her Pastry Chef Red Seal certification, and several independent decorating classes with Food Network champions James Rosselle and Marina Sousa.
With Daniel’s diploma for Business and Melissa’s passion for baking and all things cake, they hope to provide a product and service of the highest quality to all of their customers.
We are offering all previous products and adding a lot of more Sweetness with our meringue cookies and French macarons!
